Symptoms Due To Candida

By:

In the human body Candida may grow beyond normal tolerance levels. Naturally, bacteria control Candida levels in healthy people. Candidiasis is a condition where the level of Candida is abnormally high. Typically, the worst symptom experienced is a few days of diarrhea. However, the Candida may overwhelm the healthy bacteria causing widespread overgrowth. Yeast infections or "vulvovaginal candidiasis" has been a major concern among women. But there is also a condition of the mouth called "thrush", as well as candidiasis of the digestive tract. The latter may remain invisible or undiagnosed for weeks or months causing several uncomfortable symptoms.

Infections may range from superficial to potentially life-threatening. With the digestive tract, symptoms from candidiasis may include constipation, bloating or gas. In some instances, feeling full and blotted may occur when one doesn't eat for a long stretch of time. These types of conditions also interfere with the normal extraction of nutrients, producing fatigue, low energy and hunger headaches. Various problems may surface in different parts of the body resulting in itching and redness. Many anti-fungal remedies in the forms of creams and pills are available. Most often, the infections are treated with little complication.

Infections left untreated for a long period of time may lead to serious problems. The yeast will develop into root-like rhizoids under the surface of the mucosa. In the intestinal tract, a yeast infection may go undetected as it develops these fungal forms. When this occurs, toxins that are normally prevented from breaching the intestinal wall are given a route to invade the rest of the body. This leads to an illness known as "leaky gut syndrome". This condition can produce many symptoms on its own including: diarrhea, flatulence, bladder and rectal inflammation, thrush and vaginitis. Further ignoring these symptoms might lead body immune responses to act abnormally. This will spur on other conditions such as: respiratory problems, menstrual problems, dizziness, eczema, hives, insomnia, fatigue, and psoriasis. Further organ damage may be realized when yeast and yeast toxins invade the blood stream. The complication known as "invasive candidiasis" or "candidemia" in many ways may have occurred due to injury or surgery. Unresponsiveness to antibiotics accompanied by fever and chills could affect the kidneys, liver, spleen, joints and eyes.

Fortunately, all the symptoms and conditions related to the level of yeast in the human body may be treated effectively. If properly treated, chronic conditions may be avoided. It is important to consider all factors that shape one's lifestyle, including diet and exercise. Health and wellness should always be a long-term commitment, and being well-informed when various health issues arise will support these goals.
