Clearly, nobody has the perfect body, and adolescent females are especially prone to distorting their body image. For a bikini that fits well if you have a smaller waist, try one that has piping or princess seaming on it. The top should have wider straps, because they are more supportive and create the appearance of balance.

A pretty sarong or a cover-up to go with the two piece suit goes far to minimizing the thick appearance of your thighs as well.

If you are a little bottom-heavy, the look for a bathing suit with a design on the top and that is darker on the bottom, so that this will draw attention to the top of your body, and deflect attention from the other half that you aren't so fond of; this will keep the eye away from your lower area. So don't wear bottoms that attract the attention of others- avoid designs on the hip area, like gathers or details.
