Supermodel Campbell in Heathrow Terminal 5 Arrest

Supermodel Naomi Campbell proved that her anger management classes haven't worked when she was arrested at Heathrow's Terminal 5 on suspicion of assaulting a police officer.

The top model was forcibly removed from a British Airways flight to Los Angeles in handcuffs after being abusive to cabin crew. It is alleged that the model hurled racial abuse and spat in the face of the arresting officer, although this has yet to be confirmed and Ms Campbell's spokesperson has scorned the suggestion. The spokesperson said: "This doesn't sound like anything she would say."

The police were called when Ms Campbell, 38, got into a disagreement with the crew of the plane after discovering that one of her pieces of luggage was one of the 20,000 items lost at the airport's chaotic new terminal. The model was later bailed and released without charge.

After Ms Campbell's high-profile arrest and the abuse of their cabin crew, British Airways announced that the model was banned from travelling on their flights in future. A BA spokesperson said: "All incidents of abusive or disruptive behaviour towards passengers or staff are taken extremely seriously and will not be tolerated." Ms Campbell's spokesperson said that the model hoped the issue could be resolved in the near future. The spokesperson said: "Naomi has been flying with BA for nearly 30 years and has been a good customer. She hopes this can be resolved amicably."

This is not the first time that Ms Campbell has been arrested over allegations of abuse; the star has racked up a number of accusations over the last decade. The model was forced to undertake anger management classes after one incident and last year, she was made to complete five days worth of cleaning in New York after being found guilty of throwing her jewel-encrusted Blackberry mobile phone at a member of her staff.
