There are a lot of things that you can do for summer weddings that you cannot do any other time of the year. Here are some summer wedding themes that you can consider.

The theme that will first come to mind if you are planning for a summer wedding is a beach wedding. Many believe that there is nothing more romantic than exchanging vows with the golden sunset as the backdrop and the sound of the waves as your music. But do you know that planning a beach wedding is more difficult than a hotel wedding? This is because it is a logistical challenge. Not everything is readily available for you as compared to a hotel or a restaurant. For a beach wedding to be successful you need to do the following things. First, make sure to talk to the resort owner and ask them for all the facilities that they have. Check which ones you can use and which ones you cannot. Next, check if it is going to be easy to source out the things that they do not have.

Once you are settled with the resort, it is time to think about your guests. Will most of the people you would want to share your experience with be able to make it to the beach wedding? Think of transportation and accommodation concerns. Not everybody can afford to fly to the beach or rent a room for a night or two. Also consider the amount of time they would spend away from the city just to take part in your special day.

Another summer wedding theme that you can consider is an English garden wedding. Like the beach, an English garden wedding also lends a romantic feel to the celebration. The beautiful flowers and the trellises add a dreamy feel to the occasion. However, like a beach wedding, this can also be a logistical challenge. There are not many English gardens in the city to begin with. Converting a regular one can be a bit taxing because you would need to source out flowers, benches and trellis. Inviting guests may also be a concern. Gowns and suits that would fit an English garden wedding are not as easily purchased or made as regular gowns and suits that you normally wear to a church or hotel wedding.

Summer weddings maybe challenging but when planned well, everything will be surely worth the effort. In fact, all the challenges could even add up to the excitement that the whole preparation and the actual celebration would bring.
