The summer holidays, and in fact summer itself, may seem too long away to think about but whilst we all wait for the weather to turn it gives us something to look forward to. In truth the summer is not that long away and as we all know, time flies! It is worth considering where you want to go for the summer holidays and the kind of holiday you want.

Going abroad is an option but if you have a family especially with young children the wait at the airport with long check-in queues is sometimes more hassle than it is worth. Added to this the problems going on with the sector involving strikes from the cabin crew of large airlines means your holiday could be disrupted before you have even arrived.

Money may also be a problem as we tend to go over budget when travelling abroad and this can lead to problems when we arrive back in the UK. One solution is to stay in the UK and visit one of the holiday parks that are available. In the past few years we have had quite pleasant summers here and if we have the same again a UK family break may be a better idea.

Some of the holiday parks are located near some of the nicest beaches around such as Skegness and Minehead. These locations offer the perfect combination of a holiday park and a nice beach to kick back and catch some rays. If the sun is shining this summer then there is a range of outdoor activities that are available for all visitors.

There are the high ropes for those looking for a bit of adventure as well as the climbing wall and those looking for a thrill can take a ride on the free fairground that can be found at the holiday park. Of course, we know better than to put our holiday hopes on the UK weather which is why there are plenty of indoor activities to enjoy should the rain fall.

There is some stunning accommodation to choose from with some brand new hotels to enjoy where you will experience first class service and have a great nights sleep in these amazing bedrooms. If you are on a budget then there are self catering options where you can use the local shops to make your own meals just how you like them.
