They can seriously interfere with the new model of successful career building which focuses on highly successful and quickly implemented strategies like running your job campaign like a small business, developing career partners, targeting very specific organizations and decision-makers, personal introductions, informal meetings in place of traditional interviews, professional negotiations, and persistent follow-up.

Building a failsafe career means learning these strategies and then applying them, not only to your current job campaign, but to your future career growth. You see, statistics show that in all likelihood you will be changing careers between five and seven times in the course of a lifetime.

So, it makes a lot of sense to have a portfolio of proven job change strategies that you can pull out and implement with assurance at any time.
