Wednesday 16th December saw the airing of this years Royal Variety performance. With her signature style, Princess Anne graciously attended, hair tied in a sophisticated bun. Princess Anne seems to have permission to repeat her hair style at every occasion, possibly because this is one style that certainly suits her, and she can definitely pull off. Leaving that behind, what about the stars of this years show what about their hair?
We cant talk about a star studded performance and not do justice to Mr Barry Manilow. Looking half his age and sounding like a newly released star Manilow was a pleasure to listen to, and was definitely easy on the eye! His thick head of hair was looking rich in colour and luscious in texture, with golden brown to match his eyes and tanned skin tone.
A newcomer to the Royal Variety show, is singer and up-and-coming fashionista Pixie Lott. The star has been known to always want to appear older than her 21 years, and this look was definitely achieved with some classy styling. With her hair curled with tongs at the ends and then stylishly slicked down to the sides of her face, Pixie teamed an Alice band with a tucked under side-swept fringe to finish the 50s inspired look. By tucking her hair under at the bottom to create the illusion of a bob, Ms Lott also made her hair look much thicker.
On the other end of the Variety Show spectrum is Leona Lewis. No stranger to the stage, Leona looked elegant and beautiful with her dark brown hair, which seems to have changed drastically from when we first saw her all those years ago in her first few steps of an X Factor auditionee. The X Factor saw a fresh faced, much blonder Leona, with her natural tight, curly Afro intact. This was not the case as Leona soared to stardom, adopting a much tamer, toned down style. Either way, we think Leona has always looked stunning, and her Royal Variety act was no different. With her locks loose but tucked under and pinned at the side, the frizz-free style was a beautiful, very positive decision!
Nicole Scherzinger also performed. We are all aware that the former Pussycat Doll never looks less than flawless, and this appearance was no different. With her hair simply styled in a middle parting and left to flow straight underneath her shoulders, there is no denying that Nicole looked lovely. We just cant help but wonder if Nicole had any assistance with her hair style in terms of a
hair system. There would be nothing wrong with this we applaud the use of a hair piece! If you want to learn more about
