Stye- an eye condition
stye condition is just like chalazias condition. Lumps are fond in the edge of an eyelid. This problem may take a month to get healed on its own without any treatment. This condition is a painful one and can become a serious problem if proper care is not taken. Being an infection, it can cause a red lump on the eye lid. In this condition, the edge of the eyelid will suffer the most however, it occurs inside the eyelid mostly which is called as internal hordeolum. It also looks like chalazion and are larger. These both conditions are associated with blepharitis which is a common problem from which the inflammation of the eyelids is caused

This problem gets start with a red bump which then changes into a pimple that occurs on the edge of the eyelid.
Styes do hurt but chalazia do not hurt.
An irritation and swelling may occur on the area of the eyes.
It grows fast if compared to chalazia however it may affect your vision if a chalazion gets large.
It may get healed itself in a week or so.
You may feel water in your eyes every time you suffer from this problem.

It swells about for 2-3 days before getting break, open and drain.
Occurrence, Its causes and risk factors
It is a type of bacteria that can get in to the oil glands and can form in the eyes. It is just like a pimple or acne that can occur anywhere on the skin. You can have more than one
styes on the skin at one time. You can have it for more than one week and they heal on their own without any treatment. When an inflamed oil gland gets blocked, it becomes a chalazion. If you are suffering from blepharitis, you may also suffer from this condition also.

Cysts- These are small bumps which are filled with fluid which can affect your vision.
Xanthelasma- These are yellow patches which can occur on your eyelid as your age grows. However, it occurs due to high cholesterol and these are harmful.
Pappillomas- These are pink colored bumps which are harmful. It can occur due to cosmetic reasons and it can also affect your vision. If a scar is formed then it can be removed surgically.
How it can be treated

An ointment solution can be used such as Bausch and Lomb.
Try not to wear the contact lenses and an eye make up
Do not open or squeeze it, give it some time to get it open in its own way.
Wet compresses should be applied 3-6 times a day for at least 5-10 minutes. This will help you in healing the particular area quickly and it will also help the blocked pore to get open faster.
