In this piece I need to chat with you about the way the common techniques to stop smoking cigarettes are all wrong and the miracle method I used to give up for good.

When I was giving up it was handy to hear from someone who had actually achieved non-smoker status and lived long enough to tell the tell. So I'm hoping this may give you some inspiration.

For me it was my mummy who had been a particularly heavy smoker in her teens, then quit just as quickly as she began to have children.

I think that each smoker in the world thinks they have the obsession worse than any person else, and it's this belief that keeps the majority smoking for some time.

Trust me when I say that after you finally look at the real reasons for your smoking, it makes the entire process of relinquishing a lot more controllable and even fun....

I know what you are thinking.

How on earth can putting yourself thru cold turkey be fun?

I will answer that later on.

But for now I would like to glance at the most well liked give up smoking aids [*COMMA] and why I think they are going to make giving up even harder!

They are...

- Gum

- Patches

- Inhalators

*Note* if you are now employing a stop smoking aid to give up that's's great, STAY powerful! The info at the end of this text is going to make it even better to give up and turn you into a non-smoker for life.

But personally I put all of these stop smoking aids in the same bracket because I believe they're all equally stupid. You can't kill your nicotine addition if you're still feeding yourself the drug.

Let me explain...

Once I attempted giving up using the gum...

I might chew all day 24x7 rather than smoking. The course I was following instructed me to ween myself off it bit by bit over two months.

I followed the instructions to the letter and after 2 months I was only chewing one piece a day...and feeling unhappy.

Eventually I had done my two month stint and the fated day came when I'd stop gnawing the gum all-together. My man took me out for a meal to celebrate.

But as we were driving home I asked him to stop the car and pick up some smokes :- (

I was still an addict and could not face the thought of never smoking again.

Final thoughts.

There had been only 1 reason I was in a position to give up and make it enjoyable, and that was because of an audio book I downloaded and listened to over a 3 day period.

The information in that book changed my life and my whole view on smoking for all time.

It made me so thrilled to give up, and even let me smoke while I was listening.

The guide works on the assumption that you only feel frightened about not smoking when you know you can not have a fag. The majority of the time throughout the day you do not under any circumstances think about smoking.
