As if Sony have not been through enough this year they are taking another hit with the London riots as their warehouse has suffered arson damage. Sony has warned that UK deliveries of CDs and DVDs could be affected after its only British warehouse for products was the subject of an arson attack as the riots rage in the city.

The 20,000 square metre warehouse has been burning since late on Monday at the site of rioting that has spread from the Tottenham area, and a spokesman for the Japanese electronics and entertainment conglomerate in Tokyo did say that this is likely to have an impact on deliveries.

Avid gamers of PlayStation 3 are up in arms with remarks made by a London policeman that the yob violence is the fault of video games such as Grand Theft Auto.
