Sony Dcr Dvd Burner For Lion

Hi, All the movie files on my Sony DCR-SR30E are .mpg (MPEG2 I think).

I cannot view them on my new iMac.I downloaded a file call MPEG Streamclip which recognised the files but told me I needed to buy the Apple MPEG 2 component.I read online that even with this component AUDIO is not supported.Is this correct? If it is correct then what is the best solution. I am not trying to do anything complicated. I just want to burn the camcorder files onto a DVD. I don't need to do any creative chapters etc etc.

Here is the easy guide on convert Sony DCR files to DVD on Mac Lion:

Step 1: Free download Mac Lion Sony DCR to DVD Creator. Import Sony DCR movies from your PC to Creator by click Add File.



Step 2: Choose DVD-5 (4.7G) or DVD-9 (8.5G) as the output according your DVD disk specs.
