The Corporate Governance Center focuses on the three areas of corporate governance that most often impact public policy: Audit Committee, Compensation Committee and Nominating Governance Committee.
Dr. Larry Fauver is a Reagan Scholar, an associate Professor of Finance, and Research Fellow with the Corporate Governance Center at the University of Tennessee. He graduated from the University of Florida with a Masters in Economics and a Ph.D. in Finance and acquired both an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from Youngstown State University. He was also employed as a faculty member at the University of Miami.

Dr. Larry Fauver research focuses on firm performance, corporate governance, and corruption, both in a domestic and international environment. Specifically, his research focuses on board composition and firm valuation, the effect of corruption on bond yields in a domestic and international setting, and corporate governance and valuation across countries. Dr. Larry Fauver has published in top-tier finance journals including the Review of Financial Studies, Journal of Financial Economics, the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis and Financial Management. His research has also appeared in practioners journals such as Corporate Finance Review that has given a new edge to the working policy of government.

Nicole Faux is an associate in the Firms Zoning and Land Use Practice Group. Her practice focuses on development and land use matters, tax assessment appeals, tax abatements, and the establishment of commercial, residential and mixed-use condominiums. She represents buyers, sellers, developers, landlords, tenants, and condominium associations. Ms. Faux has represented clients before the Board of Revision of Taxes, the Zoning Board of Adjustment, the Tax Review Board, and the L&I Review Board.

Nicole Faux worked in Klehr Harrison, a dynamic and diverse Real Estate and Finance Practice Groups among the most active in the City of Philadelphia and then worked as a consultant for the City of Philadelphia Managing Directors Office ,handled ADA compliance and related matters. She served for nine years on the Accessibility Advisory Board reviewing variance requests from the accessibility provisions of the Citys Building Code. In addition, Ms. Faux served for seven years on the Citys Zoning Technical Committee that is responsible for reviewing requests for reasonable accommodation under the Fair Housing Act and has created a bookmark in the field of real estate and finance.
