Some Other Ways To Use A Vacuum Cleaner With A Wand Attachment - Besides Cleaning The Rug

By:

Most people know about, and have used a vacuum cleaner. They are most famous for removing dirt and other debris from your carpet, or floors - and, usually, will come with some handy hose attachments that are great for sucking up dust and cobwebs you can't reach with your upright machine. However, these vacuum hose attachments can also clean up some other "less commonly known" things, and here is a short list of several:

Use it to clean up hair clippings - If you work at a salon, or you just like to give the family funky haircuts with a bowl, you will no longer need to find your broom and dust pan before you start cutting.

By using a vacuum with a hose wand, you can now "suck" those hairs up and out of the way, instead of repeating a few monotonous "sweep and dump" moves, like before. You can also use it to remove those annoying little pieces that get stuck to the haircut recipient's face - just turn the machine on, apply to skin, and suck it down!

Removing sand from your shoes, clothes or body - Most people love to go to the beach, but few of them love the horrible itchy feeling of sand in their shoes or in surprise places on their bodies.

Especially if you are someone who needs to have that sand GONE as soon as it appears, make sure you have a car vacuum with a hose attached, to carry in your car for such events as this. Before leaving for home after a day at the beach, find your clothes and shoes wherever you left them, grab your vacuum. Next, carefully remove the sandy stuff from your socks, shoes, and any other clothing. Then do the same to the skin on your limbs, after they've dried off. Be sure to "vacuum up" in those places that are easy to forget about, and where sand hides - like the back of your neck, and under your hair.

Deep cleaning your purse - If you're a woman than you probably have a purse. And, you probably also know how "gunk" has a tendency to collect at the bottom of it, and no matter what you do in trying to remove it, there are still things like tiny beads, pebbles, lint - and God knows what - hidden in its folds.

Well, no worries. Just tip your purse upside down to get rid of all the papers, tissues and other large debris that's in the way. Take the vacuum wand and press slowly against the seam of your purse, and suck all that tiny stubborn debris, right into it. Make sure you don't forget about any pennies or melted gum that may be hiding in its folds, and could cause your machine to stop working.

Use it to tease your pet - This should only be done if you know your pet won't rebel by biting you - and, if you are so bored there's nothing else to do. First, get your pet used to the vacuum noise by turning it on and leaving it running for a while. If Fido doesn't seem to mind the hum, then take the hose wand and gently "pull" at his paws, head and tail. If he still is OK with this, then take this opportunity to get someone to snag a picture of his "head hair" being sucked up into the hose.

So now you are aware of a few different ways you can use a vacuum cleaner with a wand attachment, besides just using it to clean up the living room floor. And, if you are creative, you can probably come up with five more other unique ways to use it.
