Solid Gold Weight Loss Trick

By:

Everyone wants to know an easy way to lose weight but is there is no such thing. This is something I hear time and again working as a Glasgow personal trainer. What people should follow is the easiest way because given time that always works. The easiest way to lose weight involves simplifying the process to make the changes you need idiot proof and sustainable.

Diet accounts for the bulk of your weight loss results and a bad diet will always overpower a great training plan. So the message here is simple, eat well or fail. The single biggest thing you can do to ensure you are eating well is to cook all your own food. The second you relinquish control over your food preparation to someone else you dramatically reduce your chances of successfully losing weight. If someone is in business to sell food they don't care if you are trying to lose weight. They are not in the business of helping you lose weight, they are in the business of selling you food. To help them make lots of money from selling food they will do everything they can to keep production costs low and keep demand high. So they spend as little as they can get away with on ingredients while adding extra fat, sugar and salt to their food to make it taste good so you will like it enough to buy it again. They don't mind if you get fat, as long as you get fat eating their food.

Despite the importance of control over your own food preparation lots of people claim they can't, or don't have time to cook. If you "can't cook" buy a simple cook book and follow the instructions until food appears. Everyone has time to cook once they learn this solid gold weight loss trick. Cook once, eat many times. It takes the same time to prepare, cook and was the dishes but if you end up with 4 meals instead of 1 you have quartered the preparation time for each meal. Suddenly you are coming home to heat up a healthy home cooked meal rather than some nasty ready meal or going to the chip shop (again). Apply this powerful principle to all your meals and you will never eat junk food, fast food or ready meals ever again.

I eat 3 meals a day and incorporate intermittent fasting twice a week so I need 17 meals each week. I generally make a one pot meal of some kind (chilli / curry etc) and a pot of soup that cover 4 meals each. Homemade quiche with leafy green salad also covers 4 meals and I make an oat, fruit and nut tray bake which is fantastic for 4 fast, tasty, filling and healthy breakfast. That's 16 meals with a total preparation and washing up time of 140 minutes, or less than 9 minutes a meal. So buy a cook book, get organised and start eating food that will let you lose weight. Like everything in weight loss, it's easier than you think.
