A Pug is among the cutest small dog breed there is. These petite furry love bugs are often misunderstood.

Typically, when someone thinks of a Pug, two things come to mind. The first is snoring because this petite dog breed tends to snore even while they are awake. The other common thought about a Pug is their energetic personalities.

This dog breed is easily excitable and love to be around people. These are considered to be the dog breed for people. The Pug is often compared to a toddler, as they are clever and always need to have supervision or they will get into trouble. They are highly trainable, cuddle bugs that aim to please. Grooming a Pug does not have to be very often. Generally a bath twice a year is enough. However, they do require extra care around their eyes and nose to ensure they are clean. You should check your Pug everyday for debris around the eyes and nose. Normally, a warm wet cotton ball can clean up any little dirt that can be found.

If you are considering bringing a Pug into your home, it is highly recommended that you meet with a reputable breeder in your area a few times before you pick your Pug. If you have children or other pets, it is best for you to also bring them along with you to help you choose the best Pug for your home.
