Snowboarding Fashion

By:

Snowboarding popularity seems to have replaced skiing in recent years. The reasons can not be discussed here for lack of space. In the process, snowboarding fashion seems to be in top gear especially since snowboarding is the in thing during the winter season.

The interesting bit is that American fashion, in most instances moderated by ladies preferences, has been dictated upon by the beauty and sexiness of wearing tight jeans, tops showing cleavage and rear end and, the more preferable bikinis. But still since this can only be worn in summer, snowboarding must also develop its own fashion even as the clothes to be traditionally worn during those days are standard. Most ladies all the same want to get the best snowboarding fashion designs they can lay their hands on. Lets take a peek at some of them:

Pants
Snowboarding fashion has tried to create a blend of tight summer jeans and the snowboarding pants. The tapered leg with flare cut/boot is one of the results of this blend. With a streamlined shape, the pants that also come in shades of forest green are a beauty for the ladies.

But the pants may not blend well with the petite girls. This is no reason for concern as the Helly Hansen 2008 cargo style baggy pants are cute specifically for the petite, elfin girls. Most of the color range is basic in shades of brown and cream or white.

Jackets
Most snowboarding men under normal circumstances have little care in the world about the jackets they wear. They always seem to consider durability over style. But, not so for the ladies; most ladies can combine durability and style. These ladies will go looking for the Burton Duchess jacket. It is well designed and pretty classy. Surprisingly it is also cheap with its price just under $100. A classier jacket for snowboarding is the Burton thinline plaid hoodie jacket. They come in shades of lime green, burnt orange and plaid.

Beanies
No fashion conscious lady will put on just any beanie. If you want to make a fashion statement, consider the Dakine Audrey Visor beanie. Their structure is cute with embroidery to match the classy look. It also adds to its functionality by having a fleece lining that protects your ears against the cold.

Or you can buy the frilly pink beanie that looks like it was made from genuine animal fur. Of course you can also consider crocheting your own beanie and inject your own unique design.

Layers
In a bid to block all vestiges of cold from getting access while snowboarding, the layers that you would use become important. Think of those beautiful snowboarding socks, body shirts and long fishy pants. The best fabric for a layer is the polyester/ polypropylene fabric. A good surface, middle and last layer will suffice to making you feel comfortable.

Snowboarding fashion has always been overridden with functionality and now the two can be bosom buddies.
