Snow tends to accumulate on lower pitched roofs, so increasing the pitch will ultimately cause the snow to fall off as it lands. It is equally important to include snow straps into your design- specifically on the gutters. This helps stabilize the increase weight of your steel building during heavy snow storms. Finally, steel buildings focus on using special paints to decrease the chances of rusting. This is useful because you dont have to worry about maintenance due to consistent rusting.
