3. Sleep on your side. This will help open your airway and provide better airflow. Many snorers only make noise when sleeping on their back. So, trying a new sleeping position may help you get rid of your problem. This is one of the simplest snoring remedies and often one of the most effective.

4. Stop smoking. Smoking not only weakens your lungs and throat muscles, but also creates mucus build-up in the nose. Both of these negative effects can contribute to snoring, so eliminating this habit should decrease your noisy condition.

5. Relax before going to bed. Sometimes snoring can be caused by stress. Relaxation techniques such as yoga or meditation, when done before bed, can make you feel more peaceful and give you a quieter, better night's sleep.

Snoring can be an annoying problem for people who live in the same home. In many cases, this problem can be greatly reduced or eliminated by practicing a few easy methods. Try one or more of the above snoring remedies...you and your family members will be glad you did.
