Sneak Peek: Fable Iii

Sneak Peek: Fable Iii

The series has however received some criticism, some developers at Lionhead with Peter Molyneux at the head is not afraid to accept. With each title the movements to expand the scope of the current world, while also fine-tunes the things people have complained about.

A new era

In Fable III plays the offspring of the hero from Fable II. We have come into the industrial age, and politics has become a burning hot topic. Policies that are carried at the moment, however, is not the sort of solidarity, and it's high time a change. It is of course where you come in, take over the throne a bit out of the game. If you want to make a positive change - or make things worse - is, however, your own choice. Something you can still be quite sure of is that they raised you come with, not always be as easy to maintain.

As you might think you need people like you (or fear you) if you want to be king of the country, but unlike the former played in the series it is not enough to drive in with an animation in an hour to get a whole City to look at you like a god. Each person has a greater extent individual preferences, and you have to go harder to works to develop close friendship.

The real power because in Fable III is because people follow you, and you have some new tools to keep track of this. The game introduces a brand new menu system, by all examples fully grusleggjer the old text-based brand. In an instantly press the Start button to jump instantly into a three-dimensional space with a huge map in the middle. By a closer look at the map you can move a magnification glass to different area to look more closely at them. Here you will find information about how well liked you are, but you can also buy and sell property without at some point had to head to the relevant buildings. Very handy!

Menu "area" has more functions than the map control. By going into the different rooms you can do everything from switching weapons to change clothes. Testing rooms are full of statues that demonstrates your equipment, and if you love clothes, you can store your own compositions. The best thing about the whole menystemet is that everything goes very quickly. I was not witnessed a single loading screen either by going in or out of it, which will make it a small matter to make quick changes when you check the demand.

Bruised they should!

Out in the field will be as usual some struggle, and this seems to work as before. Fighting acts still to hour battles properly, and holding the button for more powerful strokes. Are you good you will get some tough end attacks, and we hope that many of these so that we are not ending up with seeing the same animations one hundred times.

Fable III, however, introduces a very exciting change to the combat system. Magic system from Fable II returns, but instead of that magic can only be stronger by holding the button or you switches to another type of magic to do the same, you can now combine the magic. Instead of throwing lightning or fire, you can now do it at once by using different magic gloves on each hand. The combination of lightning and fire is not trying, what do you say to "Force Push" with fire? Or what of a whirlwind filled with razor blades? Possibilities seem to be many, and I itch in my fingers to explore this system.

The area you throw out in order to combat the enemy will follow Lionhead be much greater than in Fable II. Instead of narrow corridors, we find large areas up to four times larger than the largest departments in Fable II. This is however not everything, the whole world in Fable III is apparently twice as large as the predecessor. For the first time we will also travel outside of Albion, which can be very exciting.

Charming and brown

Since Fable III takes Albion in the Industrial Revolution, this leads to a drastic change in the color spectrum. The different areas I've seen have all been strongly marked by bricks and gravel roads, which quite clearly has destroyed much of the beautiful landscapes we know already. This does not mean that the green fairy tale landscapes are gone, we get only a greater contrast between the cities and forests.Something that definitely has not been scaled down the humor. The dialogue is as skakkoyrd as before, and many actors with John Cleese in the lead borrower, their talents to the game. It is quite clearly a lot of funny dialogue in the game, so much so that one certainly could easily end up wanting to complete a call right before you hurry off to do the real objectives.

Conclusion

Fable III looks absolutely out to deliver the goods. We get exactly what has made the series so well, while we have several new elements that should spit some extra life into the game. This new magic system looks very exciting, but it is the new "menus" that really take the cake. Instead of scrolling page after page, you enter into a three dimensional area where you just go to what you want. We find also a very convenient map that allows you to do things very quickly and efficiently.

What we still wonder now, is what actually happens when you become king. Sure, you are king, you get power, but what do you think? Great question, but we'll be noydt to wait until the game is out.
