Simple Tips To Create Consistent Big Pay Days

By:

Are you tired of being paid by the hour? Or is your business experiencing a 'boom and bust' cycle of income spikes and then slow periods? If you have a service based or a cyclical business it can be frustrating. You start the month wondering how many billable hours you are going to have, or if this is going to be a good month or a bad month, and spending lots of time and energy worrying about how much money you'll make.

Being stuck in this cycle makes it very challenging to predict or plan your cash flow. It certainly creates a great deal of anxiety, saps your energy and takes the fun out of what you do. Plus, it is not the way to create a stable, thriving, and financially fit business.

It is possible to create consistent cash flow and a predictable income. Here are three tips that will help you create a more consistent and stable income so you can enjoy your business, get paid for what you do, and continuously grow your income whether you have a cyclical business or are in an hourly service based business.

1. Create multiple streams of income: Having multiple income streams or multiple sources of revenue, that you can leverage from one to the next, will not only help you create more consistent income, it will create an opportunity for your clients and prospects to experience what you do at different price points. The mistake I often see business owners make is that they think that creating multiple streams of income means to create revenue streams products or services that are not related to their core business. What then happens is they then lack of focus, are pulled in multiple directions, and they create they lose their core business identity. So instead, create income streams that all stem from your core business. This creates opportunities for people to invest with you at different levels and price points and creates more consistent income flowing to you.

2. Package your services: Turn your dollar per hour service into a high-end package or program. You can quickly turn your dollar per hour service into a packaged platinum style program. The conversation with your prospects shifts from what you charge to instead talking about all the great value and benefits your services provide. You will instantly increase your creditability with your prospects and more income flow to you!

3. Plan for big paydays: One mistake I see entrepreneurs make is they think of their business in terms of a monthly pay check. In some cases if you expect to make a certain amount of money a month then you are actually limiting your ability to make even more. So rather than thinking of your business in terms of paychecks think of it in terms of promotions or launches. When you are consistently launching or promotion new things you will create a series of big pay days. If you are launching packaged programs your will increase your income and create consistently increase cash flow.

It is possible to create a business with consistent and steady income. The more ways you can help your clients solve their problems the more they will invest with you and you will become known as the person that helps people solve that problem. When you become as 'the one' who is the best at solving that problem you will create a steady stream of your ideal clients, income, freedom and flexibility to create not only the business, but the lifestyle you want.
