Many are afraid to ask," what is it"? The myths that surround this change range from funny to ludicrous. It is considered taboo in some cultures due to the lack of understanding the fundamental changes that are associated with it. Focusing on the issue that childbirth is no longer possible has challenged the strongest woman. Realizing that the ovaries are no longer capable of producing eggs for fertilization can be devastating for some. Individuals will go to the doctor thinking that an illness other than the change of life is responsible for the discomfort that they are feeling. Menopause symptoms can be controlled by the introduction of HRT or Hormone Replacement Therapy.. It is important to inform your physician before you start these treatments because of the possible interactions with other drugs..
