These days, its easy to tell whether someone is lying or not. One of the ways you can find out is by looking at the signs of lying eyes. They say that the eyes are the windows to a persons soul. It turns out that this isnt such a far-fetched idea after all.

Im sure youve heard of these signs of lying eyes before. However, do you know what the reasons behind them are?

Signs of Lying Eyes # 1: Lack Of Eye Contact

People who are telling lies, or not quite telling the whole story, will find it difficult to look you in the eye. Growing up, we have been taught that honesty is the best policy. Doing otherwise is totally against most peoples nature.

The lack of eye contact is believed by many to be some sort of defense mechanism.

Signs of Lying Eyes # 2: Eyes Move Up and to the Left

When a person is telling a lie, they will most likely look up to their left. Why? Well, this is usually a sign that theyre creating a new image or scenario in their head.

When a person is trying to remember something however, the eyes will most likely look up to their right. Just be careful that you dont mix these up.

Signs of Lying Eyes # 3: Lots of Blinking

When a person is telling a lie, you will notice rapid eye movement and that theres a lot of blinking going on. Many believe that this is the bodys way of saying that lying is not natural and that there must be something wrong going on.

While these signs of lying eyes are said to be quite accurate, you still have to be careful, especially when the person in question is a very good liar. There are others who are so good at lying, they can even control their own actions to prevent detection.
