Should I Stay or Should I Rent? – (Part One)

You've done your job, you already had a researched online and found the perfect apartment for rent. Everything you wanted and needed within the area is perfect, the price is right and all you need to do is go out there to inspect it and sign up the papers.

Renting a unit or apartment doesn't mean you have nothing to think about and you just pack up your things, go out there and start to live as if it was yours. First and foremost while you're on the stage of inspecting the unit, do yourself a favor look for everything that you dream of in a apartment. These sites will surely give you enough information that you're looking for before renting a unit. Consider the fact that research is very important to make sure you get what you want, and nothing that is substandard.

So you're already inspecting the unit, while you're doing it think of the things that will compromise to your benefits for the long haul, in a way you're the one who's going to rent it and you should be comfortable living to that house. Take your time there is no reason to hurry, it is important to remember all your requisites before signing the papers. From the maintenance to water supply to doorknobs. Check carefully the whole unit because once you already signed the lease and paid your bond in full, you will have fewer options to have the property improved if it is necessary. If the apartment is on the second or third floor, do you have to climb stairs or is there a lift or elevator. Think about this carefully as you may not want to carry groceries and other heavy items up a few flights of stairs each day. If you have an injury or disability, which makes it difficult to climb stairs, take this into account. If there is a lift check for capacity and whether there is a phone in case of stoppages, convenience and security.
