Seventies Party Games Are A Great Addition To A Seventies Theme Party

By:

Turn back the clock to the seventies party games with great music, bellbottoms and seventies party games and activities. Seventies party games are fun for children and adults of ages - especially those who lived during the grooviest decade ever.

70s Name that Tune Disco Style: This game is played much like the similar Name that Tune game with the guests having to name as many 70s disco songs as possible in a predetermined amount of time. Play a 2-3 second snippet of a 70s song and the first player to name the song earns a point. The winner of the game will be the guest that names the most 70s disco songs in a predetermined amount of time.

70s Icon Picture Scramble. Children at the 70s theme picture may not have the ability to name 7-0s songs but that does not mean they cannot enjoy party games. Print out various 70s icons and television show actors, musicians etc. on sheets of paper. Once printed, cut the pictures in various shapes and place in a pile in front each child. While moving around the kids at the party must put the picture together. The winner of this game is the guest that can put their piture back together the fastest.

70s B.I.N.G.O. Print out 70s B.I.N.G.O. cards on sheets of paper using various 70s images such as celebrities, cars, words. (groovy) in the spaces.

Rhyme and Reason. This is a fun game all party guests can enjoy playing. To play, select six celebrities (party guests) and two contestants. The guests must write on paper a word that rhymed with the final word in a phrase. The contestants then choose the celebrity whom they thought might match them. If the celebrity and the contestant match, the contestant scores two points. If the celebrity chosen matched the other contestant, the other contestant receives the two points. If both contestants chose the same word, the contestant choosing the celebrity, which matched them, received a point. Three points win a game and two games win a match. The contestant who wins may play a bonus round and writes down three words that rhymed with the last word in a phrase. If a guest goes to the bonus round he or she chooses one celebrity to play the game. If the celebrity was able to rhyme and match all three words in a period, the contestant receives three party favors. If the celebrity matched two of three words, the contestant received two party favors, and if the celebrity matched one word, the contestant receives one party favor.

Seventies Party Games and Printable Activities make for great entertainment even if some party guests were born in a later decade.
