Set Your Life Path With The Help Of Feng Shui Tarot

By:

We all know that tarot cards are used for prophesying the future, whereas the Chinese system of arrangement of the environment is known as Feng Shui. In fact just like Vaastu Shastra, Feng Shui (yin, yang and chi) is being heavily used by interior designing artists while decorating the interiors of a house due to heavy customer demand. Now there is this new and revolutionary synthesis of these ancient oriental and occidental systems known as Feng Shui Tarot.

Feng Shui Tarot is rather complex and can take time to become familiar with as it involves several layers of puzzling difficulty. Compared to a standard tarot, Feng Shui Tarot is different in the sense that the suits in the latter, are changed. In Feng Shui Tarot, the suits are the Green Dragon, the White Tiger, the Red Phoenix and the Black Tortoise instead of the Swords and Pentacles, Cups and Wands.

But first of all, let me define this school to you. Water in Chinese is called Shui while wind is referred to as Feng. Taken together, Feng Shui means wind and water. In this ancient and traditional Chinese system, the destiny of human beings is believed to be linked to his environment. The aim of this study is to ensure that human beings learn to harmonize themselves with their natural surroundings.

If you look at Feng Shui metaphorically, you may translate its meaning as geometric omen. To put it in other words, the fate of a human being will be determined and influenced by the surroundings in which he lives. Western astrology is the closest equivalent to Feng Shui in many ways.

The similarity between Feng Shui and tarot is that both will teach you to become aware of imbalances and balance, blockages and discord and harmony in your life. The difference between the two schools is that tarot functions at a more esoteric level. The deck of the former and a conventional tarot deck are pretty similar in composition. Both of them should also be used in the same way.

Meanings

- The red phoenix corresponds to the suit of cups and denotes south. It refers to the mythical bird of great character, undying inspiration, warmth and beauty that can rise from its own ashes and be reborn.

- The black tortoise corresponds to the suit of wands and denotes north. It stands for enduring virtues like security, longevity and stability.

- The green dragon corresponds to the suit of pentacles and denotes east. It stands for potent yet serene spiritual sense on the one hand, and on the other, power and intellect.

- White tiger refers to the suit of swords and denotes west. This is a powerful creature that requires to be controlled and evokes a sense of defense and strength.
