Boston Vacations - June: Boston Pride

The parade is not the sole event in this week of festivities and events a festival at the famous Faneuil Hall Marketplace and block parties in two of the city's most gay-popular neighborhoods, the South End and Jamaica Plain are other major happenings.

Boston and the Lovely 4th of July!

Boston, Massachusetts is the place where Independence Day took place. Let us tell you how it all starts in this lovely city; on the 3rd of July, the Boston Pops Orchestra starts their concert at 8: 30 PM while the Oval is open to the public starting at 4 PM. With nearly 400,000 to 700,000 lovers of the US of A, the gigantic Oval is brimming full of happy Americans wearing wristbands and entering the center. You can have all the safe fun with an alcohol free night at the family center of The Esplanade while enjoying the huge fireworks in the sky that continue to cover the ceiling of the world. Before the 4th of July, Boston starts a 6-day Harborfest Fourth of July Festival that leads up to the grand event of the Independence Day with amazing fireworks over the Charles River. Remember to bring your camera and be happy about the State Troopers; they are present for your safety on foot, horseback, motorcycles and boats.

Boston is a city for all seasons depending on your taste and desired activities during the vacation.
