Your book collection can grow very quickly if you are a fast reader, particularly with so many book discount deals being available at so many outlets. Most supermarkets have a book section with two for one or two for a set price offers, meaning that you will pay less for each book if you buy two at once than if you buy them individually. You might also have decided to start using a library to borrow books to read or to refer to, because it is more economical and will save space.

You therefore need to do something with your collection of old books and an option that many people turn to is selling them online. This is particularly worth doing with academic books, as some are rare or very expensive to buy new, so there is a strong market for second-hand versions. The price will have depreciated from when you bought them, but it is important to remember that if you had given them away or left them sitting on your bookshelves or, even worse, in a loft or cupboard they would be making no money at all.

If you advertise your books online and attract buyers, you can use an online courier service to book shipments in order to send the books to your customers. This could be especially useful if you get a bulk order for a set of books. If you use a courier there is very little hassle involved a representative will collect the parcel from you and take it directly to your buyer.
