The Bad Way ... The "Ummm" Technique

Most people who record goals use the absurd "Ummm" technique (stated here for humorous purposes only). It requires the unschooled goal-setter to say the word "Ummm" a lot, furrow his brow, caress his chin and agonize. Then, he grabs whichever goal happens to come to his mind. It is not a very clever or useful way to select goals. However, it is unfortunately the most common.

The Good Way ... The Strategic Technique

Here are the steps required in selecting the strategically most important goal:

Ponder on the different goals you may wish to achieve in your life. Think of several.

Review your own loves to notice which goals are best to move you towards your Loves and away from what you do not love.

Review your life mission to notice which goals are best to support what you wish to be known for this lifetime.

Review your annual goals to see which goals would most powerfully support the achievement of your stated annual goals.

Review your Desires for this month to see which goals might be most appropriate to supporting your Desires.

Using this Strategic Technique, you can see that you will select really important goals for you. If you do not use this strategic process, then you may achieve isolated and unrelated goals, but you will not feel fulfilled nor will you go in one clean direction. You will be scattered and you will feel it.

This process may seem overbearing. At first it may be; eventually it will happen very quickly and effortlessly. At first you will not remember your Loves, your Life Missions, your Annual Goals and your Desires. Eventually, these will be always in your mind and goal-selection will be faster.

Shun the dreaded "Ummm" Technique. Employ the wonderful Strategic Technique. It works. It produces great results.

It will double your income or achieve whatever other goal you may have in your life. When you select goals strategically, then your whole life is focused and brought clearly to bear on the matter at hand. Your life is free of overwhelm. Your life has meaning. Your life is filled with the goodies of life that you really want.

You can double your income. Or, you can achieve any goal which is truly important to you. This is the technique the real goal-achieving masters use. Now, this technique is yours.
