It is getting really hard to find a media outlet that doesn't bombard society with many answers about the best way to lose weight. Many of the people who have been suckered into spending their money on these useless programs that are better at relieving you of your money than your weight. The theories on this topic are numerous as well with no real results for most people who try them and especially the ones who, despite having all the secrets revealed to them, cannot lose any weight no matter what they try. Is there really an honest answer to be found?

It seems that the diets that cater to the all or nothing mentality are at the bottom of the success scale. The majority have already proven that saying good bye to a specific food group for any extended time frame or to endlessly consume just one type of food isn't working either. Some will beat the odds and lose a few pounds, but for most who head down these roads blindly will succumb to cheating on their diet and will ultimately set themselves up for dieting failure before the diet is done.

A suspicious myth suggests that eating breakfast within the first thirty minutes of starting you day will get you started shedding pounds. And there is some studies that suggest that many people who include breakfast after a morning workout will increase the body's metabolism and that weight loss is very possible if this routine is consistent over a routine time frame.

As successful as many of the fat free and low fat food programs are in terms of making money, they fail to product acceptable results for the many people who have tried them. It has instead been shown that many of these people are actually more obese and are in danger of developing heart disease than a regular diet. Fat is very essential to help the body stay healthy when it gets the healthy fat it needs to function properly according to the American Heart Association.

Perhaps eating smaller meals more often is the key? Well, honestly if you eat more often there are more opportunities to make unhealthy choices and studies show that it is best to eat 3 high protein meals each day as these will tend to keep you full for longer and will help to reduce the need for snacks in between and during the late night hours.
