Secrets Of Stain Removal The Pro Carpet Cleaners Do Not Want You To Know About

By:

Whoever said getting kool aid or red stains out of carpet was easy was wrong. Sometimes you may not get all kool aid stains out of your carpet. However there are some methods that you can try and these have been used by professionals. You may get all of your stains out, you just have to repeat the process below as many times as necessary.

The first thing you have to do is to get all the excess kool aid out of the carpet. Do this as quick as you can. You do not want to kool aid to set in the carpet no longer than necessary. If you have a wet/dry vacuum this will do the trick.

You will need 2 cups of warm water and Dawn dish washing liquid (original). Drop about 6 drops of dawn into the warm water. Then use your solution to dampen a white cloth (cotton) and lay it over your stain. Take your iron and turn on low and place it on top of the cloth. Do not press down on the iron, just let it set.

Leave for 15 minutes. Do not press down on the iron. When you start to see red on the cloth you can change to a clean cloth or fold the one you are using to a clean side. Repeat this step until there is anymore red coming from the carpet to the cloth, or until you have as much of the stain out that you can get out.

After you have all the stain out that you can get out, rinse the spot with water and soak up as much as possible. Blot the area real good. Make sure that you get up as much as possible. Dry quickly as you can, this will prevent any deeper stain from coming to the top. Kool Aid stains have been removed with this procedure. It takes patience removing red stains.

Now lets run through the process real quick. You use warm water, plenty of white cotton cloths, dawn dish washing liquid, & your iron (low heat). Remember do not rub your stain. Let the color rise to the cloth at its own speed, it will come. Rinse and dry the area quickly.

You can use this process to eliminate most of the kool aid stains or red stains. You can at least lighten the stain if not remove it all. And this process will also work for many other carpet stains. Just give it a try
