During December, as all the stores are gearing up for Christmas, delivery drivers and wagons must be able to use our roads, so if they were not clear, our shops' shelves would soon be empty. Ice is possibly the most dangerous hazard on our roads. Thankfully though, salt can prevent it from building up, as it starts to melt the ice, so that it can then be broken down by vehicles' wheels. It is also used on footpaths to make pedestrians lives a lot easier in the winter months.
