For about 10 seconds, hold the iron in the hair and then cautiously open the curling iron and release the curl. Keep on repeating this process for the remaining sections of hair that you wish to curl. If your hair is long, you may wish for to pin the curl with a bobby pin against the head ahead of doing the rest of your hair.

Once the curls have cooled, you can make use of a holding spray to position the look and then remove the pins and style the curls using your fingers.
