Rsa Queensland Your Obligation As A Provider Of Alcohol

The Queensland Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation (OLGR) approved Responsible Service of Alcohol training course is a nationally accredited training program. It ensures that all those involved in the service of alcohol are trained to prepare and serve alcohol in a safe and responsible manner. Since 2009, this certification has been mandatory for all those involved in the liquor industry. The focus of Queensland RSA training is to teach how to prepare and serve alcohol responsibly to patrons. The liquor industry has a moral as well as legal responsibility to do as much as they can to prevent drunk driving and to reduce alcohol related collisions. The RSA Queensland course focuses on the consequences of non-compliance with the legislation and the legal obligations of the employer and employees.

The RSA Queensland course is available on-line, allowing you to complete it in the comfort of your own home. It is a self-paced course that is divided into sections. Learning times are individual, but the RSA Queensland training meets the four hour minimum learning requirement. It is available on-line, twenty four hours a day, seven days a week. Completing the RSA Queensland course on-line eliminates the need for babysitters or to take time off of work. Your certification has an expiry date of three years before renewal is required. RSA Queensland training includes instructional materials and the video and audio components of the course contribute to the learning environment. Anyone recently hired to work in the liquor industry has a period of thirty days to complete their certification. A copy of your OLGR Approved RSA Queensland certificate must be kept on the premises in the register by the licensee.
