Ringlets Without Curling Iron

By:

Spiral ringlet is a gorgeous way to achieve soft, female hairstyles. They help in transforming the frizzy hair smooth and also aid in managing the curls properly. Using a blow dryer to dry the hair and then making use of a curling iron can be harmful to the hair. Here we discuss about an alternative way to achieve ringlet, which is gentle and without using a hair curler in any way.

First step towards the creation of ringlets is to wash the hair properly using a shampoo that enhances the curls and then apply a good conditioner. Rinse thoroughly and wrap the hair inside a towel for sometime. This removes excess moisture. Now use a soft toothed brush or comb to detangle the hair and make it free from frizz. A curl enhancing serum or mousse can also be used to produce natural curls.

Now use a blow dryer at a medium heat setting with a diffuser attachment. Make sure not to make the hair completely dry. Drying the hair is meant to remove the excess wetness of hair. The hair should be damp in order to curl it.

Now partition the hair to small sections. First, work on the hair that is near to your face. Starting from the scalp, take an inch section of hair and twist it around the finger repeatedly till it reaches end of hair. Now hold this strand of hair while you twist another. Once two strands are curled, hold them together using a claw clip. If you have layered or banged hair, then use smaller clips.

Once you finish working with the hair near to your face, start curling the hair at the back. For this, partition the back hair into 2 sections. Starting at the crown, curl 1 inch locks from each section. Use necessary number of clips to hold them. Allow them to set for about half an hour.
Remove the clips and squeeze the hair with your fingers. This will increase the curls and locks. Let it to air dry while you keep squeezing the hair. By slightly modifying the process, twisted ringlets can be done. This is much good looking and stylish.
