Rhode Island: Infiniti G Sedan Looks The Part, Not The Price

By:

All Rhode Island Infiniti G Sedan dealerships are obviously in the car selling business and just trying to make a living. However, these Rhode Island Infiniti G Sedan dealerships, which also sell residents of Rhode Island Infiniti M vehicles, have been responsible for some controversy between family and friends as of late. Owners of the latest Infiniti G25 model have reported being accused of lying by friends and family members after taking their loved ones for a ride in their sedan and mentioning the cost of their vehicle. Infiniti, however, has no intention of apologizing for the trouble.
Rather, Infiniti has every intention of continuing to flood the market with vehicles that look the part, but not the price, of luxurious vehicles. With the latest model year, Infiniti decided to downscale as opposed to upscale its G lineup. Thus, they focused on keeping the cost of this model low in the low to mid $30k range. By doing so, consumers made out on top, perhaps even more so than Infiniti intended.
Infiniti is a luxury auto brand. They produce models that sell in the $70k price range. Luxury is what they do. Thus, when a luxury automaker goes to produce a reasonably affordable vehicle it usually turns out nicer than when an eco-automaker tries to produce an expensive vehicle. After all, one succeeds at what they know, right?
This nicer than the price suggests phenomenon is exactly what happened with the 2011 Infiniti G25 and is the culprit of the friends and family controversy. To start, the vehicle features a 2.5-liter V6 engine with 218 horsepower and a seven-speed automatic transmission. The impressive creature comforts of the G25 sedan that are getting everyones attention are the standard leather-appointed seating with power front seats, automatic climate control, 17-inch wheels, flashy xenon headlights and aluminum interior accents. Entertainment wise, the base price of the 2011 Infiniti G25 sedan includes satellite radio, which drivers can blast through the standard six-speaker audio system.
For customization enthusiasts, the G25 sedan comes in several trim levels, the upper levels of which add a sunroof to the already photogenic exterior. These trim levels use the name Journey (G25 Journey and G25x Journey) and feature even more impressive add-ons like a rearview camera, automatic headlights, and heated mirrors outside, and dual-zone climate control with heated front seats inside; the combination of these features make the Journey trim levels almost as nice as the M lineup available at the Rhode Island Infiniti M dealership.
The concept Infiniti execs took with the 2011 Infiniti G25 has been welcomed by automobile consumers even more so than the execs ever could have hoped for. Even if a few family feuds have ensued as a side effect of the model, Infiniti employees know an end to the arguing exists with a simple visit to a dealer lot. However, when these friends and family members see the price tag of this impressive vehicle is no lie after all, they too will want to purchase the 2011 Infiniti G25. And of course, when they share their new vehicle with more friends and family, these new owners will also be accused for lying about the cost of their impressive vehicle, ultimately starting the whole cycle over again.
And as long as Infiniti keeps producing vehicles that look the part but not the price, the cycle will continue. However, it seems Infiniti has no intention of changing.
