What I love most about this book is that there is an actual romance throughout and not just casual sex between Sondra and Nick. The story flows at a good pace and is solely focused on the two main characters with little interference of supporting characters. Nick is very patient and tender with Sondra, especially when he introduces her into his lifestyle which I found endearing. Sondra is very assertive, independent and her self confidence makes her the perfect complement to Nick. The scenes between these two are beyond scorching and will leave you blushing and fanning yourself! The Contract is a fiery short read for the lover of smut and erotica. This one is definitely not for the timid!
