Edinburgh is the capital city of Scotland and is of immense political importance for reason that it is home to the parliament of Scotland. Besides this it is a prominent city in the entire Europe because of its many galleries, museums and the festivals that take place in the city. Edinburgh is divided into two sections, Old Town and the New Town. The New Town in Edinburgh can be classified as the citys high street. It is a busy shopping and entertainment area. On the other hand old Town is famous for political and business activities.

This is mainly because between the buildings there are attractive communal gardens, which makes the area more green, relaxing and peaceful. New Town is the fashion district of Edinburgh. Almost all brands, chains, pubs, restaurants and fashion boutiques can be found in the area.

Old Town in Edinburgh:
The Old Town of Edinburgh has many classical buildings and a unique medieval layout. Royal Mile is the main road of Old Town with one end by the Edinburgh Castle and the other end down to the ruins of Holyrood Abbey. There are a number of landmark locations in Edinburgh Old Town, like the Palace of Holyrood (the Queen lives here whenever in Scotland), Royal Museum of Scotland, University of Edinburgh, General Assembly Hall, Surgeons Hall etc. Most part of Old Town is the Edinburgh Centre, which is a very busy area and is loaded with tourist.
