Up-dos definitely were the style of 2011, and it looks like they are set to stay in fashion for 2012. There are so many different ways of incorporating an up-do in to whatever look you are going for, and even those going through hair loss can achieve it- so dont dismiss it! If you would like to learn how to wear your hair up to suit you, read on!
One of the most unique looks to come out of 2011 was sported by Gwen Stefani. Showing up at the premiere evening of In the Land of Blood and Honey with a twist faux-hat style, Gwen blew us all away with the latest hair style. The retro style was created by putting her hair into a ponytail then twisting and gripping it at the front, with it rounded off at to create a hat like look.
No stranger to looking absolutely perfect, Victoria Beckham graced the world with a stylish bun back in November. With the assistance of hair extensions, Mrs Beckham turned up to the British Fashion Awards with her locks tied in a low ponytail, then twisted and gripped with crocodile clips into a chic but edgy bun. Teamed with the front of her hair being slicked back with styling products, unsurprisingly, Victoria blew us away!
In contrast to the sleek, well-styled bun, Jessica Biel appeared at the GQ Men of the Year party with a messy but equally as beautiful bun. This time incorporating a high ponytail with the help of a clipped in hair piece, Biel blew us away with the scruffy but sexy style. To complete the look, a strapless dress is always the way to go.
Whether you have heard of him or not, Celebrity hairstylist Marcus Francis is the one to thank for the return of the plaits in this seasons style stakes. The CFDA Awards was when Chloe Moretz sported the beautiful style, with her hair in one thick braid going all the way round the back of her head and secured with grips. Creating the illusion of a braid, this was a look to be proud of!
One of the most disappointing stories to come from 2011 was that George Clooney has finally been snapped up. Miss Stacey Keibler being the lucky lady, we arent surprised Clooney was finally secured into a relationship! Stacey sported a beautiful rendition of the braided up-do, in her own individual variation of the style. By braiding the front of the hair into a hair-band and securing the rest of her locks into a low, messy-chic bun, Keibler looked beautiful as always on October 2011s red carpet.
Most celebrities have used hair pieces to achieve their perfect styles, so why dont you? If you would like to have red-carpet worthy locks, visit Bloomsbury of London today!
