By:

There are so many reasons people cheat and just as many reasons that cheating does not have to lead to divorce. Divorce should always be the last resort in a marriage. It is what should happen after all other possibilities have been explored. It should not be the default solution for the first sign of trouble.

For a number of relationships, an affair can be the in the forefront of easily recognizable sign of trouble. It is likely that there are more in there if viewed through hindsight but when things gets muddled up it is always cheating that gets people first look and see where the relationship is being ushered for quite some time already.

The pain is always there, when you are the victim of cheating. But then, there are a lot of ways that will make your life feel more hurt than that. A cheating spouse is not necessarily a trigger that will tell you that your marriage has to end. Cheating need not be the reason why your marriage must lead to divorce now or in the future. Why do I say so?

1)Because marriage is about so much more than just the good times. Marriage is a series of rocky roads with twists and turns and lumps and bumps. It is not a smooth path and it certainly isn't the final destination. Sometimes, it takes the really dark and painful times in your marriage to truly appreciate how wonderful your marriage and your spouse really is.

2)You are answerable to yourself in making your marriage work. You made a promise and that one really meant something to you. Whether in the good times or bad. The current scenario is included in the later however for you, it's not enough to even think the option of breaking the vows you made.

3)Second chance; that is what you think your family deserve. It is but normal that children are involved while cheating takes place. You always desire that your children will be showered with love and parental guidance and they grow up. It is important that you and you know too well deep down, that it's important also with your cheating spouse.

4)There is a common knowledge between you and your spouse that the spark is there for your love. There could have been instances that you went out of the way but you definitely know where your destination in the future is. There is no valid reason than this in having cheating not to lead to divorce. For at the end of the day, one thing is for sure and sure is important, you need to have a good reason to make the marriage work.
