Real Estate Web Site Content - Getting It Write!

By:

Real estate web site content is an important factor in the success of your website. In fact, the success of a website is usually measured by the number of daily page views...and page views translates to visitors, which eventually translates to income.

But if you don't know how to increase page views you can relax, as I've outlined five specific ways to increase both site visitors and page views.

One. Provide quality, pertinent, and unique real estate website content on your site. The single most important factor in generating lots of visitors and page views is to provide visitors with useful, interesting and informative real estate content.

Original content is preferred, but you can also use pre-written content and articles from article directories. If the major article directories can do it without getting penalized for duplicate content you can. too.

Two. Keep things short and simple. People have short attention spans and are more likely to scan information than read it...and will take the time to read long passages of information only when they happen upon really interesting information. So, provide short and to the point information rather than long articles containing thousands of words.

Three. Pay attention to highlighting and formatting. Make your content visually appealing by highlighting important words, concepts and ideas. This is one way to quickly draw attention to key information on your site for site visitors to easily spot. If they find it they'll stay, but if they don't they're likely to make a quick exit.

Simply stated, if your site is well presented your visitors will leave happy and look forward to returning. Plus, they're more likely to be willing and even eager to to leave comments about it in forums, and even refer your site to their friends who might be interested in your site.

Four. Put article excerpts on your main page. If you only have a few pages right now you should spend some time building up your page count. And once you have many pages you can increase their page view by putting excerpts or links to them from your main page, a concept known as deep linking.

Five. Finally, make a sitemap. A site map makes it easier for people to determine what information you have on your site and find the things they want...fast and easy. Surfers don't like cluttered web pages, nor do they like to stay on websites with broken links and/or still under construction. The easier it is for them to navigate and find what they're looking for the happier they'll be.

So, if you want your website to succeed you have to organize it well and provide lots of interesting real estate web site content - and then serve it up the write way!
