An important step toward achieving any goals is being able to visualize what it would be like to actually achieve the goal that you set. Shaune suggests that you should right a movie script of what the scene would look like at the moment your goal was reached. This will require not just a little creativity, it will also require being able to pay attention to details.

The key to making your movie script work for you is to actually write it out as if it were a screenplay. Make your movie as realistic as possible. Start out by setting your surroundings. Where are you when you reached this goal? What was the weather like? What can you see from where you are? Close your eyes and really try to see what your location looks like, then figure out where you are in that location.

The next step is to build your supporting cast. Who is with you when this particular milestone is reached? Are you alone or are you with friends, family, or coworkers. Be specific about who is with you. List all of their names.

You should also pay attention to the mood. How are you feeling at this moment? How are the people with you feeling about your accomplishment? Are they even aware that you reached one of your goals? Feelings and emotions can be powerful things. The more you can be in touch with those emotions, the more real your visualization will seem.

Finally, you will need to create the dialog for your movie script. What is being said, and who is saying it? Remember, the aim of this is to make your script as realistic as possible, so think about what the people around you would say is this setting.

Once you have written your movie script you should read it out load every couple of days. Try to play out the parts as if you were actually acting them in the movie. Over time this vision will become even more real, and it will help motivate you to keep moving toward your goal.
