Raymond Weil Watches: A Great Gift

By:

My Aunt recently took my young cousin Allie to the store to get a very special gift for her thirteenth birthday. She wanted to get her something that showed little Allie how much she was growing up and that she now needed to be a little bit more careful with the very special gifts she was getting. My Aunt had decided to buy Allie a classy watch. One that she could appreciate as much in ten years as she would today. A watch that she could hold on to and assign her own value to through the years. A time piece that could follow her through a number of special occasions and could play a part in memories for decades to come.

Little Allie took to the fine watches like a fish to the proverbial water. It was cute how Nautica watches, Michael Kors watches, and even Ladies Fossil watches seemed like treasures to her. We knew she found her match though when she looked over the line of Raymond Weil watches. She was absolutely mesmerized by these watches as the clerk took them out of the case one by one and let her try them on. Raymond Weil watches it turns out are an amazing gift to give a thirteen year old a sense of responsibility. You could see her adjusting the way she handled them right in front of our eyes. This was no longer the Allie that smashed my junior year science project or lost my pet toads in the backyard, this was a mature, delicate young woman.

Before we knew it we, she, had chosen the watch she wanted. It was exactly right she said and then the second part of the lesson began. Allie was told to put the watch back and remember the exact one she wanted. My aunt was not going to let this lesson zip by without a little education in value. We went home my cousin confused and panicked. "Had this been a trick," her darting nervous eyes seemed to ask.

When we arrived home my aunt turned on the computer and began searching for the watch. She happened upon a site with great deals on Raymond Weil watches and found the one we had seen in the store. She explained to my cousin she was ordering it for a lot less money. That it was worth what the store was charging it but this was a smarter way to make the purchase. I think my cousin learned a lot from this day. Oh and her Raymond Weil watch arrived in the mail just a few days later. She seemed to like it even more than when she held it in the store!
