Something I learned from attending Tony Robbins seminar, Unleash The Power Within in 2005 is that most people have good standards, but to be highly successful, we need to have better than excellent standards in life. Its a simple message be outstanding at what you do as a coach, trainer or therapist on order to
achieve financial freedom. Demand more of yourself than anyone else has the right to expect and you will get paid very well. T Harv Eker makes a similar point when he says How you do anything is how you do everything. Even the relationship youre currently in is the result of standards youve set , so never settle for less than you can share, give or be.
However, there has to be a balance here; dont wait until a product or service is absolutely perfect before launching it because the market place will give you some excellent feedback. Just write and release your eBook or home-study course and record that audio or video because you dont have to get it right, you just have to get it going as Mike Litman author of Conversations With Millionaires is fond of saying.
The point is that raising your standards doesnt mean you have to be perfect but it does mean that you have to use personal power to take action in order to get results. Personal power is defined in very simple terms by Tony Robbins as the ability to take action. Its something that the top 5% of people exercise and distinguishes those who achieve financial freedom from those who dont. This is where you need powerful reasons for achieving financial freedom as a coach, trainer or therapist. Tapping into powerful reasons enables you to turn all those shoulds into musts which in turn means youll be motivated to take the necessary actions and succeed.
What are your own unique powerful reasons for wanting to achieve financial freedom? Be one of the 5% who do, versus the 95% who talk and commit your own unique reasons to paper. Better still, email them to me personally Andrew@stepstofinancialfreedom.co.uk and Ill give you some feedback to make them even more powerful and motivating.
My late mother put it all in the simplest and best way when I was 7 years old and she insisted Do what you do well Boy. It was some of the best advice I could have received so as to be able to
achieve financial freedom.
