In this type of heating, air is the heating medium and the heat is supplied directly through panels in the wall or floor, rather than through ducts. However, there is a drawback of this type of heating as do not hold large amount of heat. Some companies have combined this with solar air heating systems and have achieved amazing results. The ideal floorings for this type of heating are ceramic tiles, marble and slate.
