4. Contacts- It pays to network. You have to know people in the press if you really want the story

5. KNOW HOW TO WORK WITH THE MEDIA: If you are chasing fame then this is a must.

6. Be Professional (know the media) - Get to know the names of the editors and host of shows and know exactly what they are looking for. If you want your name in the papers, on the internet or on television then you have to know who are dealing with.

7. Always Be Honest- Never lie to the press your credibility is everything.

8. Be Accurate- Always have the right facts, check and double check everything that you are doing, this is what builds a great reputation.

9. Only promise what you can deliver- Never build up a story to interest an editor and it turns out to be weak. Do not waste their time. Always protect your reputation for integrity.

10. Be a source- After getting to know the media and their needs, you will be able to be a source for them.

YOUR ONLY AS FAMOUS AS YOUR LAST NEWS CLIP: Plan ahead, have a story to tell and give the world something to talk about. It doesnt matter if they love you or hate you as long as they are talking about you. Reality stars can vouch for that.
