Quidway Mobile Phone Is To Enter The Uk Market

According to foreign reports, Quidway plans to launch its first mobile phone with Android operating system platform Blaze in UK. Some analysts said the phone will go to the British market in the next month.

According to the foreign news, recently, Quidway's executive vice president of the United KingdomMark Mitchinson said the company's goal is to get 4-5 percent of the UK mobile phone market share within one year. Mi Qinsen said: "We are trying to build brand almost from scratch. Quidway will compete with any mobile phone manufacturers with the Android platform.

It is worth mentioning that Mi Qinsen has been battle-hardened in the smart phone circle. Before his joining Quidway, he also worked in the mobile phone giant Samsung and Nokia. Quidway appointed Miqin Sen to be in charge of the British company. It also hoped to make UK as its breakthrough into the European market.

On the other hand, with the rising share of Google Android in the smart phone in the world, Quidway paid more and more attention to its benefit rate. Last year, 65 percent of Quidway's sales came from China and the foreign markets. The company's overseas sales growth is three times higher than in China.

Quidway is benefiting from the increasing popularity of the Android platform equipment. The company will compete with any mobile phone manufacturers with the Android platform. The market research firm said yesterday that South Korea's LG Electronics and Sony Ericsson in the UK market are using Google's Android platform. These are the smallest two major brands in UK. In the second quarter the global sales raised more than fourfold. At current it is the most popular mobile phone operating system.

British analyst said: "We will see other companies will unfortunately continue to be challenged. Sony Ericsson is one of them." The analyst said, Quidway has about 1% market share currently in the UK terminal market. It is expected that this number will grow to 3% within a year. But Quidway will need to make a huge investment to compete with Asia's second largest mobile phone maker HTC. HTC initially is also lack of brand awareness. She said: "Their problem is the brand. For them it is a defect."

Quidway said in April that the company's goal is to increase the sales of mobile phones from $ 6.0 billion this year to $ 20 billion within five years. Currently, they are embarking from the UK to expand its European market. To this end, the company also increased the investment for promotion.
