Q.i: Some Of The Most Intriguing Questions & Hilarious Answers

By:

For anyone who likes game shows, comedy, and learning new, interesting, fun facts Q.I is definitely the show for you. It is a hilarious British comedy panel game show that's hosted by the very witty actor and author Stephen Fry.

What makes this show so interesting is it takes questions that seem very obvious or common knowledge and gives you the real answers in a hilarious and informative way. With an abundance of answer you wouldn't believe the show also brings in popular British comedians to battle it out for points to win the show. The result is an array of hilarious answers which are given points based on their correctness and for the panelist's creativity. Points are also taken away for wrong answers which in the end have no meaning at all and are just there for a fun competitive platform.

Some of the most interesting facts that have been on the show are usually the ones we grew up to believe were true such as: Hearing that everyone during Christopher Columbus's time used to believe the world was flat before finding out it was round. It actually turns out that during the Middle Ages no one seriously believed the world was flat and that Columbus would sail off the edge of the earth.

Some other interesting facts from Q.I are:

The Irish actually gave bagpipes to the Scottish as a joke;
Babies are born with 300 bones while an adult only has 206;
One of the ingredients in dynamite is peanuts;

Here are just a few hilarious quotes from conversations and answers to some of the questions that have been asked on the show:

Stephen Fry, the host, asked: And if a lion mates with a tiger, you get a ...?
Which a contestant, Alan Davis replied: A Scandal.

Stephen Fly: "what's the largest thing the Blue Whale can swallow"
A contestant Bill Bailey replied: "The blue whale, a very vain animal, perhaps the largest thing it has to swallow is it's pride"

Alan: Do ducks sneeze?
Stephen fry pauses, then does an impression of a duck sneezing loudly and replies: Yes, probably.

Q.I is a wonderful mix of witty and funny remarks and a plethora of interesting facts that you'll want to tell others. The panellists are always hilarious and have a lot of fun with the show while Steven Fry is very informative, funny, and obviously truly interested in the history he's telling the viewer about. It's a really great show and highly recommended to anyone who wants to learn some new things in a hilarious and fun environment.
