Pros And Cons Of Using Zuji To Make Your Cairns Reservations

As you begin to research at trip to Cairns in the Tropical North Queensland area of Australia it may be a bit intimidating. You may initially choose to use Travelocity, which is highly advertised as a great travel site for global travelers, for your travel reservations for cars, flights and hotels.

When you first go onto the Travelocity site, you click on the Australian flag about midway down on the page, and they redirect you to a site called Zuji, which is a Travelocity run site, so you figure you will give it a shot. Now you choose what you are looking for airfares, accommodations or care hire and they will give you a quote.

The good thing about this site is they have a ton of information all about this region right on the main page with many options to click around to find out more about different adventures and activities. Since this is a first trip to an international locale all this information is very beneficial for you as you search for travel details, plus they offer really good deals.

But one of the drawbacks for this site is there is not very much information regarding the businesses they are linking you to, and this could be a risky proposition when you are traveling to somewhere such as Cairns. It is a very exotic, tropical area, but it requires a car to get around and if you get there and there's no car available you will be stuck.

Not to say Zuji doesn't have a good reputation, it's run by Travelocity so they know what they are doing, but you may want to make your auto rental reservations and hotel accommodations through the named, bigger, international businesses so that you are assured of a calm arrival. Traveling internationally is a thrill but doing business with local companies should be done with caution. You don't want problems on your holiday with unknown vendors who don't live up to what they promised.
