Promotion Handling

Promotion Handling

By:

Understand both the perks and the challenges of your new position. The first thing people think of when they are offered a promotion is to automatically assume there will be a substantial raise in their salary. While promotions do come with pay increases, they also come with more responsibilities, an increasing workload and longer hours.

These are all normal changes you will need to become accustomed to during your transitional period.

Ther are some tips for handling Promotion:-

1.Maximize exposure: put your domain address everywhere you can. Make sure it's on your stationery, all your magazine and print media ads, your phone hold/answering messages, promotional items, trade show exhibits, turn your fleet of trucks into mobile billboards for promotion.

2.Promote your web site to the search engines as often as possible: Be sure to update the site content for maximum return. Consider well thought out paid-inclusion and pay-per-click search engine campaigns for more highly targeted and qualified site visitors.

3Update your site regularly to excite the interest of viewers and search engines. An unchanging web site month after month will not bring back or hold viewers.

4Ambition is good: We are always searching for leaders. We like ambition, and like to encourage others to strive for success. Youth and ambition sometimes make a strange mix, and some of your junior managers may make some crazy demands. They want to be Head of Sales. They want to be paid a London or NY salary. They should be promoted over clearly more qualified colleagues.

5List down your responsibilities: Make a bulleted list of all the responsibilities handled by you in the last one year. Do not miss out on any task. Then try explaining the problems faced by you while performing them and the way adopted to overcome the difficulties. Self initiated efforts are always acknowledged with respect. Therefore make sure you dedicate enough time for the list.

The next logical step is to find clients who need your services. In this age of recession where prophets of doom seem to multiply by the minute, it may feel as if all permutations of business would shrivel and eventually fold up. Yet, its not yet the time to fret. If you have the goods to deliver, clients will just come in droves no matter how tough the times are.

Businesses that want to sell something in the market need 2 things. The first is the product to be sold which later on will be distributed. The second is marketing via website promotion which is the vehicle that is used to carry that message across to the consumer so that people are aware of its existence then it is purchased.

You should bear in mind that submitting your site in search engine will not guarantee you a traffic. Submitting your site is just the first step. Because there are millions or billions of website on the net competing to position on top 20 of search engine keyword result

SEO is the process of preparing your site to be a search engine friendly..
