Prefabricated Pools: What's The Latest Developments

One thing's for certain and that is that vinyl lined above ground pools really have gone through some dramatic changes over the years since they first came into use. New manufacturing techniques incorporating high-tech new materials means they last so much longer now, and go together quicker and easier too. Then the icing on the cake is that you even pay less for one now than you would back then when factored for inflation.

Check out the amazing new decorative vinyl liners for instance because they've gone through some amazing transformations. Now of course the standard stock pool still comes with a blue liner but you now have new choices in amazing colourful liners in a whole host of new design styles. Faux polished pebble and even incredibly realistic looking ceramic tile appearing vinyl liners look so real that it's almost impossible to tell the difference.

Then kid tested and approved tropical reef pool liners have proven to be a huge hit. All types of fish and sea life festoon the sides and bottom of these crazy liners and the colours are simply amazing. Then best of all, is that with both these styles of liners, the fish and tiles are moulded right into the vinyl so they resist fading and will never scrape or chip off.

For years if you own a pre-fabricated pool and wanted a deck up against it or around it, you had two choices. One was to build your own from scratch, and the other choice was to buy one prefabricated. But they just didn't have that decorative appeal back then. That always change though because today there's a wide range of the "real wood" prefabbed decks that come complete with all you'll need to assemble them using basic hand tools.

Then if you have kids, or even teens and adults that act like kids, you'll for sure need to stock up on a good supply of pool toys and games. Today you have more choices in better constructed product that are made from high tech plastics and foam. Things like foam filled floats and toys that never need to be need to be inflated, can't be popped and won't water-log. Also you won't believe the size some of some of today's giant inflatable pool toys.

Then to keep your backyard safe, product developers have been busy at work over the years brainstorming to come up with new ideas for amazing new devices to watch over your pool and yard when you can't be there. Products like wireless motion detectors that take minutes to unpack and set up, and that can even call you on your cell phone if someone enters your backyard when you're not there.
